Sunday morning

Everyone got more sleep last night, but Nichole's headache is still there. Dr. Gordinier came in this morning and took the staples out of Nichole's incision, then used small butterfly bandage strips to take the place of the staples. Afterwards, we had kind of a lazy Sunday morning together. Emma yawned and stretched, then had breakfast and cuddled until they brought in breakfast for Mommy.

Right now, I'm holding her on my chest and snuggling (and have been for the last hour) while Nichole takes a long, hot shower to try to get rid of the headache. Emma is so cute just lying here and sleeping. Jordan and Abbi called this morning to see how she was and let us know they saw her photos here. I can't wait until Thursday, when they get to meet her!

The nurse just came in and gave Emma her hepatitis B vaccination, but Emma barely cried, and we're back to snuggling. Soon, the doctor will be in for one last look at Emma, and then we can go home!

Emma goes home!
